big city SMALL WORLD

In 8 days of living here, I have run into two people in two different, random places that I know from LA. Maybe it is not so random. One is a guy who i served at The Mint on a regular basis who just moved back here and works at a bar a block from my apt. The other was a friend who I met through my great friend Patti in LA. We ran into each other at a little karaoke joint called Sing Sing, which is way too much fun! ( I met a guy Steve there who not only looked like Meatloaf as he sang, "Anything for Love," but also played Meatloaf in an off-broadway play... I think off-broaway is used loosely here... lol.)
