I live in the best part of NYC and I am not afraid to say it. I lucked out! It is the last real neighborhood, mostly untouched by big names. Mom and Pops dominate here as does a sense of community. I am becoming a bit of an East Village/Alphabet City/Lower East Side snob, rarely treading above 14th St. I like feeling right at home.
